Fall Flavors: 3 Great Autumn Inspired Cocktail Ideas

It probably goes without saying that the fall season is a goldmine for great food and flavors. With family gatherings set for the upcoming months, one often overlooked idea is crafting some harvest season inspired cocktails for your guests to enjoy. Look no further, as we’ve gathered some of our favorite fall flavor cocktail recipes that’ll be sure to put everyone in the autumn spirit.

Delicious Afternoon Butterbeer

Ingredients: Serves 1

  • 6-8oz cream soda
  • 1 oz Vanilla Flavored Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Butterscotch Schnapps
  • Pinch of brown sugar
  • Whipped Cream (topping)
  • Butterscotch Dessert Syrup (topping)

Instructions:

  1. Pour Vodka, Schnapps, and pinch of brown sugar into a beer mug
  2. Pour in Cream Soda
  3. Stir, making sure ingredients are well mixed
  4. Place dollop of whipped cream on top to preference
  5. Drizzle butterscotch syrup over whipped cream to preference.

Fall Sunset Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients: Serves 3-4

  • 1 bottle (750ml) of white wine (drier the better)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup ginger beer
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 2 apples chopped (Honey Crisp or Granny Smith)
  • 1 pear chopped
  • 3 – 5 cinnamon sticks (Depends on Preference)

Instructions

  1. Chop the fruit and add to a large pitcher. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
  2. Let the pitcher sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice White Russian

Ingredients: Serves 1

    • 1oz Kahlua or other Coffee Liqueur
    • 1.5oz Vodka
    • 1.5 – 2oz Pumpkin Spice Creamer
    • Dash of Maple Syrup or Brown Sugar (Optional)
    • Ice
    • Cinnamon Stick (Garnish)
  • For the rim: Graham Crackers (Crumbled)
  • For the rim: Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

Instructions:

  1. Ready a small plate and combine cinnamon/ sugar and graham cracker crumbles for rim garnish.
  2. Wet rim of serving glasses and dip into rim garnish.
  3. Combine Kahlua, vodka, pumpkin spice creamer, maple syrup/brown sugar (optional), and ice into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Shake gently, about 8-12 seconds.
  5. Pour into serving glass and top with cinnamon stick.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
