Summer is almost upon us and the Tahoe area has gone from a snowy retreat to a summertime playground! The lower elevations are almost completely melted out and we are excited to see the famous Tahoe wildflowers returning for the season. For fans of hiking, Palisades Tahoe also operates its world-class Aerial Tram during the summer season! Take in spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains as you are whisked high into the alpine, stopping once you reach the famed High Camp. Home to a family-friendly roller rink and 9-hole disc golf course, High Camp is a truly fun place to hang out in the summer sun. From High Camp, you can embark on miles of pristine hiking trails surrounded by boundless views. Journey to the top of the Emigrant Peak or swim in the cool waters of Shirley Lake.
Pro Tip: Many hike-savvy travelers often enjoy hiking up the mountain through Shirley Canyon and then riding down the Aerial Tram once they reach the top.

We are excited to share that our Owners and Guests can continue to receive Aerial Tram discounts included with their stay! Kids Summer Camp
Owners and Guests also receive discounts at the Palisades Tahoe Kids Summer Camp! The camp will run Monday – Friday, 9am to 3pm. Please click here for more info.
