There were three of us and was trying to make reservation for a two-bedroom unit. Used GPX to exchange my time share and there was only one room available, which was a studio with a queen bed, pullout sofa, one bathroom and kitchenette - we took it. It was actually very comfortable for the three of us women. We cooked the first night there and the kitchenette was very functional. Had the necessary amenities to our liking which included an electric tea kettle, toaster, coffee pot and blender. We had easy access to the washing machine and dryer which were free. Plenty of electrical outlets. The clock next to the queen bed had several USB C outlets. The room light and fan are on a dimmer switch. We had access to a balcony with two chairs and a table with views of the lifts and mountains. There are just enough people at the lodge so it's not over- crowded. My friends and I were the only ones using the hot tub in the evening. There are three hot tubs and a very nice club house. The lodge has activities every day at 4 pm. The employees at the front desk are very helpful. Majority of communication is via text messages. If you're into hiking, there is access to the Shirley Lake trailhead which is about half a mile down the road. The best part was taking the tram down after a 2-hour hike straight up and some bouldering at the top. Conveniently, there is an e-bike rental place across the street, Olympic Valley Ski & Bike. The e-bikes are pedal assist only at $30 per hours or $120 for the whole day. Helmets not required. The drive to Tahoe City is only 15 minutes away. We were also able to drive to Cascade Falls trail to the south and Kings Beach to the east all within a 45-minute drive. The weather was perfect around mid-80's during the day and 60's at night with a slight breeze. We will definitely be back.

Just did a trip across California, and this was easily the best place we stayed at. The only downfall to staying at this place is that there's no breakfast included, but it's not that big of a place so it's not something I expected either. Things I loved about the place: 1. Location - it's very close to the ski area. 2. Underrated summer location - we stayed at South Tahoe after this, and found Palisades to be more enjoyable as a getaway. The next time I'm in Tahoe, I'd stay here again. 3. Good value - cheaper than most of the places closer to the lake. If you're a mountain goat like me, I'd consider this place again. 4. Cleanliness - no odors in the hallways, and the cleanliness of the unit was immaculate. It was cleaner than every other hotel we stayed at in Oregon, Washington and California. 5. Easy check-in. We arrived late at night when the lobby was closed, so we were worried we wouldn't get it. They did have a mechanism for checking in after hours, which was really easy and got us to the room fast. This felt really slick imo. So overall, a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this place.

This has been the perfect spot for hiking and driving to Meeks Beach for kayaking and paddle boarding. Tahoe City is just a stone throw away with good shopping. We’ve enjoyed the hot tub at night after a good hike. Will definitely stay here again.
